The Sailfish bite has slowed a little over the last two months as the water temperature has dropped. We are still encountering good numbers though, raising between 3-10 per day. Fishing is expected to really hot up over the next couple of weeks though, as September usually sees the water temp start to get up over 25 degrees again.
We have had an awesome run of Black Marlin over the last month, regularly encountering 2-5 fish per day. Lots of the fish have been in the 20-40kg range with the odd larger fish being raised! These marlin have been providing plenty if excitement while being teased right up to the back of the boat before pitching a live bait at them!!
